The Power of Flowers

The deciduous bulbs division changed their display again! Remember to grab some of their lovely Scadoxus punecius in 15cm and 25cm pots.


 
 
They were still sleeping when we took this picture, but just look at the buds and flowers on Gazania 'Kiss Rose': fantastic and undemanding colour that's just irresistable!

What could be prettier and more spring-like than Scabiosa columbaria! This compact variety produces bloom after bloom.

BIG flowered, clump forming Arctotis 'Radience Red' is a real stunner, and it's relative, Arctotis 'Sunset Radiance' is the perfect plant to go with it!

There are always those on the look-out for unusual plants - there's no beating Scadoxus (blood paint brush)!

Osteospermums are ever-popular - these two varieties have the most open flowers, but the plants in bud are also beginning to show good colour! Osteospermum 'Sunny Sheila', a fantastic red variety that you will get no-where else but at New Plant is next up as well as 'Sunny Cambria' a fantastic, deepest purple. We expect both varieties to sell out fast.

Look at these yummy Tecomas (well, the sunbirds think they're yummy)! Also available at the same price in 15cm pots.

There's always a demand for hardy, fast-growing ground-covers, and Stachys fits the bill every time!

And once again: popular, ever ready to bloom, Euryops are a mass of buds and flowers. It's well worth taking the larger 10kg bags for maximum impact.

Gazania rigens thrives on the sea front, and adapts well to a variety of harsh conditions.

This is one of the loveliest shrubs! Its great for landscaping, as it tolerates quite harsh conditions. One can never forget the wonderful scent of its blooms - a joy in the middle of winter!
